Bored at JFK airport.

Hey kids. It's been a while. Hope you all had a good nights sleep after eating all that turkey (or tofurkey for all you veggies). Me? Well, not so much. I have a 7a flight to catch to Barbados and decided to stay the night here instead of having to wake up at 3:30a and driving in the middle of the night. Tough life, i know... right? Truth is, I'm really excited for this trip... not only cause it's Barbados, but cause I get to see my aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins who live down there. Pretty awesome huh. I haven't been there since I was 12, so this trip is long overdue. A couple of things i'm looking forward to: - revisiting Sandy Beach and riding on my Uncle's boat, "Scotch 'N Soda" - watching my uncle's band, "The Red Men" play Margaritaville tomorrow night - Scuba Diving in the Caribbean - hanging with my two younger cousins, Ace and Lil' Ram. - Fish Buffets - White Beaches, sunny skies and 80 degree weather - seeing people driving on the other side of the road - palm trees and people selling coconuts with straws in them on the side of the road Don't worry, I'll take lots of photos and will try to upload some of the better ones. Anyways, I think i'm gonna upload some photos ive taken from the past few weeks or so to curb my boredom. I've been slacking, i know. Onto the photos... Over and out.

If you've been paying attention to the ever expanding FOE VIP list to the right of your screen, you may have scimmed by and maybe even clicked on one of the newest additions - Charlotte Sometimes.

For those of you who have no idea who she is, I suggest doing yourself a favor and checking out her myspace and FOE page and check out her music. I got the chance to hang out with her this past week in Cali while she was there playing a few shows with singer/songwriter James Morrison, and let me tell you - I was blown away. Not only does she have an incredible voice, but her lyrics and songs are equally as badass. Oh, and for those girls out there who've had their heart broken and have basically said "eff off" to the male species, then this is definitely for you!

Anyways, just thought i'd give her a proper "welcoming" into the FOE family! - Boys watch out!

Do yourself a favor and kick that girl/guy in the balls. Seriously, this is the most disgusting flavor of doritos i have ever tried, and I am a HUGE doritos fan. Really, it's not good at all. Want to know what the flavor is? fucking CHEESEBURGER!! and not even a GOOD cheeseburger. It tastes like a McDonald's cheeseburger. ew ew ewwww!!! Whoever's idea this was, should be dragged out into the middle of the street and shot.

B-day Wish list...

On Thursday April 5, I will be a quarter of a century old. Yikes. I'm planning a b-day bash at Ninja New York and i can't wait. A bunch of my closest friends are gonna be there, and it's gonna be insane. Ninja's jumping out of the ceiling, lighting things on fire. Think i'm kidding? You Tube "Ninja New York" and witness the craze maze with your own two eyes.

Anyways, i came across some pretty rad stuff online, which, if i had a kajillion dollars, would probably buy. Alas, i'm a poor 20-something year old and so i'm just going to wallow in my emo misery and instead obsess over interweb pictures. (*tear) Check it:

Today i went to the Garden State Plaza (haza) with my best friend Delia. She wanted to go to LeSportSac to get a weekend bag and a tote. I tried convincing her to get this awesome tote i loved - the print was of all these different country/city stickers - really colorful and fun. So she decided to get both that and this polka dotted weekender bag. Cool. So i'm waiting for her at the checkout and the woman bags both of the LeSportSacs. Delia is sometimes neurotic when it comes to certain things and she asked for two seperate bags. I was thinking to myself "jesus delia, what are you doing?" and then she hands me the one bag (i think she just wants me to carry it) and she goes "Happy Birthday!" Sneaky sneaky sneaky!!! She laughed and I yelled at her for spending so much on me. But the bag is awesome and here's a pic:

ace and rubbish.

Two great words in which I stumbled across today: "ace" and "rubbish". My goal is now to try and use these words on a daily basis.

The new killers video is ace.
1. it has an unidentified, oversized, really cute stuffed animal with buck teeth in it
2. the first time i saw the video, at about :33, it shows them playing their instruments in an arcade - i thought they were playing guitar hero guitars. This in my opinion would have made the video THAT much cooler, but it's cool enough that i mistook it for such.
3. any band that doesn't take themselves too seriously and can pull off wearing kimonos is okay by me.
4. it takes place in japan. i <3 japan
5. at the end of the video, they have the really cute-green-unidentified-oversized-buck tooth-stuffed animal crawl into a capsule hotel with one of the dudes in the band. This is awesome on many levels, but mainly because it reminded me of when I got Chris Faller to believe that when the Hush kids go to Japan, that they would be staying in a hotel just like that in Osaka with capsules as their room (yes, they really do exist). I also told him that he would have to take one for the team and share a capsule with their guitar tech. He wasn't too pleased. This went on for a while until he eventually found out it was all a joke, and decided to get me back by pretending to be really pissed. It's unfortunate for him that I am really smart and didn't buy it for a second.

Onto other things... all of this Anna Nicole Smith media attention is rubbish. Aren't there more important things in this world to be focussing our attention on? Like global warming and having a war-obsessed president in office for the next two years? Yeah, i understand that what has happened to her over the past couple of months is some heavy shit - and i would NEVER wish it on anyone else. But i also feel like it is a direct result of her trainwreck lifestyle and bad parenting. Obviously her son had problems, but those problems stemmed from somewhere. The fact that i'm talking about this is rubbish so i'm just gonna shut up.

ps. i wanted to share with everyone this photo of my friend wil and i. he has this burly beard and i was drinking from straws stuck in his facial hair the other night. he lives in brooklyn where they have weird fashions like wanting to look like navajo indians, or in this case, a hunter. In our out kids? You tell me.

Some exciting (and disturbing) stuff.

It is 25 degrees out, and i am sitting here at my desk drinking an iced hazelnut coffee with soy milk. Is that weird?

So, it's been a while since an update. Here are a few things I'd like to share with all you party people. Check it:

- Yesterday Ashley, Alex and myself recorded some vocals in the back studio for the new BOYS LIKE GIRLS video, The Great Escape! Alan (who works in our office and is the mastermind behind all of the FOB vids) directed it and wanted to have a "crowd" sing on the last chorus in the song. Well, we didn't have a crowd, but we did have the 3 of us! So listen hard - actually, you probably won't have to listen THAT hard, but check it out - it's the 3 of us fools layered over and over and over again. Pretty cool eh? It was a really fun experience - probably even more fun than when we sung on the GCH's record! Smash and I are tinkering with the idea of forming a band. Anyone have suggestions for band names?
